The Ferrari F430 being auctioned has 16,855 km on the clock.

According to the Argentine News Agency, the Ferrari is part of a series of official auction days organized by the AABE.

At the Casa Rosada, they highlight that these auctions are part of the commitment "to put an end to decades of disuse, opacity, and waste", under the maxim repeatedly stated by the Government: "Nothing that should be in private hands will remain in the hands of the State".

The Ferrari F430 being auctioned is from the year 2006.

According to the records published by the AABE, the base price was set by the Justice system and can increase significantly during the bidding if there is interest from private buyers or collectors.

Why the Government is Pushing These Auctions

In recent months, the AABE has accelerated the sale of unused real estate and movable assets, with the aim of organizing the state's assets and generating income.

Buenos Aires, December 10 (NA) – The dream of owning a Ferrari at a lower price than the traditional market can become a reality: the Chief of Cabinet of the Nation, Manuel Adorni, announced that the State will auction a F430 model at the beginning of 2026, which was seized from drug traffickers.

The vehicle was seized in a case involving drug trafficking and money laundering, and following the current administration's criteria, it will move from state custody to public auction to generate value again.

The Ferrari auction will be one of the symbolic events of the 2026 calendar, both due to the vehicle's value and the type of judicial case that led to its seizure.

A Model with a History

The Ferrari F430 is one of the brand's most recognized supercars: a 4.3-liter V8 atmospheric engine, 490 HP, a six-speed F1 gearbox, a top speed of 315 km/h, and an engine sound that was legendary for Maranello enthusiasts.

In the case of the Artilleros property—one of the examples mentioned by Adorni—the bidding lasted over an hour and doubled the base price.

According to the official balance sheet, the administration has already accumulated USD 321,915,200 in "completely transparent and auditable" operations.

An exemplar in good condition—as indicated in the documentation—can reach significantly higher values in markets such as the United States or Europe.

That is why the auction generates interest among both collectors and buyers who see in it a unique opportunity to acquire a sports car that, under normal conditions, is far above local values.
